The Service Oriented Conference strives to create a space that is respectful and inclusive for all who take part. While we hope everyone has an enjoyable experience, sometimes consent incidents and other concerns come up where our attendees, presenters, volunteers, or staff may need support. The Consent and Emotional Support (CES) Team aims to provide available support on the day of the conference and, should it be needed, follow-up action to mitigate harm for future events. If you would benefit from a safer space to express concerns and report incidents during the conference, the CES team is here to help.
If you are experiencing a consent issue or would like emotional support during Service Oriented Conference, please click the report link below and fill out a CES Report.
If you fill out a CES report on the day of the event, a CES Volunteer will reach out to you in a private Zoom breakout room to provide support and determine next steps. Most issues will be addressed within the day, but depending on severity some situations may take longer.
Reports sent after the event will be reviewed and responded to between 1-3 business days from the date the report was sent. We will stop accepting reports on November 19th, 2024.
If you have feedback about how Service Oriented Conference can be improved or complaints you'd like addressed, please send your feedback to the form link below.
