The Business of Sisterhood
The Business of Sisterhood

The Business of Sisterhood is an exploration of the development of familial ties in relation to Kink & Leather communities. We will discuss the historical sisterhoods in African-American communities. Also touch on the leather organizations that have bred sisterhood opportunities. We will specifically discuss how cultural and societal norms, values, & expectations have affected current views on sisterhood, and relationships among women. Including how women develop, recycle, reduce, or remain sisters over the course of their lives. This is a presentation and sharing class. The presenter believes we learn best when we do so together. Please come prepared to think and possibly give voice to those thoughts.
