Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using serviceconference.org (“Website”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms and conditions also apply to your registration and participation in all events held and hosted by Service Inspirations, LLC (“Service Inspirations”, “us, “we”, “our”) including the Service Oriented Conference (“SOC”).

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you are not authorized to access or use this Website or to register for or attend the Service Oriented Conference.

Limitation of Liability

Service Inspirations is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this Website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. By registering for or attending a Service Inspirations event, you hereby waive any and all claims of injury or damage to your person, property, reputation, or physical or mental health against Service Inspirations, its attendees, volunteers, presenters, staff, and affiliates that may arise now, or in the future, from any cause whatsoever in connection with your participation in the event.

All classes, events, social time, or other activities you witness, engage in or in which you participate at the Service Oriented Conference may include subject matter dealing with kink, BDSM, mature and/or sexual content, and any and all definitions of service, including personal service and community service. By entering any event held by Service Inspirations, you acknowledge and agree that you may encounter people with different understandings or experiences than your own of what is being discussed, offered, conversed about, or otherwise engaged in. You assume full responsibility for yourself and your actions and for any emotional damages or injury resulting from your willing participation at SOC and Service Inspirations events. You acknowledge that your participation is strictly voluntary and consensual and that you may exit any event and cease participation at any time.

Intellectual Property

All content and materials on this Website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and trademarks are protected by intellectual property laws. They are the property of Service Inspirations, LLC unless marked otherwise. You may not use or reproduce these materials without our prior written consent of the copyright owner(s).

Event Rules

Participation in the Service Oriented Conference is contingent on your following the event rules. Failure to follow these rules may result in you being muted during sessions, removed from individual sessions or from the entire event. You will not be entitled to a refund if you are removed for a violation of the rules. If you are found to be in violation of these rules, you may not be permitted to attend any future events held by Service Inspirations.

Maintain a respectful and consensual environment for all. Service Inspirations is committed to keeping safety and consent at the forefront of our events, and to welcoming those from all backgrounds and identities. SOC and Service Inspirations will not tolerate any discrimination or harassment of attendees, volunteers, presenters, staff, or affiliates, particularly if these actions are based on race, ethnicity, creed, nationality or national origin, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identities or expression, marital or partnership status, mental or physical disability, height and weight, socioeconomic status or background, pregnancy status, or military status. If you feel you are the victim of discrimination, harassment, or a consent violation at an event held by Service Inspirations, you may contact a staff member or volunteer for support and addressing of the issue. If you are found to harass, discriminate, or violate the explicit written or verbal consent of an attendee, volunteer, presenter, or staff member of Service Inspirations or SOC, publicly or privately, you will be removed from the event without refund and will not be permitted to attend any future events held by Service Inspirations.

All attendees and those on camera must be over the age of 18. No exceptions. By accessing and using this Website, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. By registering for any events held by Service Inspirations, you affirm that you are over 18 years of age at the time of registration. Children (anyone under the age of 18) are not permitted to attend, watch, participate in, or be present at any part of events held by Service Inspirations including SOC.

This event is strictly for ticket holders. Please do not share Zoom links with those who have not registered for the event. Each Website account login and each registration for Service Inspirations events is valid for one email address only. Additional tickets may be purchased for all attendees even when they are joining from the same device. Sharing Zoom links, or individual information about the event or individuals involved in it, is strictly forbidden. If you experience financial barriers to attendance, you are welcome to apply for a scholarship or volunteer to receive free or discounted admission.

No recording during the event. By participating in SOC and events hosted by SOC or Service Inspirations, you agree to not record the event. Service Inspirations cannot prevent others from violating this policy. By attending the event, you accept the risk of your image, voice, and likeness being captured by video, audio, or screen capture. You will have the option to have your camera and microphone turned off, and the ability to change your display name if you choose to attend and remain anonymous.

No nudity, sexual acts, or anti-social behavior may be displayed on camera. By participating in events held by Service Inspirations including SOC, you agree to all Terms of Service by Zoom.us, including refraining from nudity, sexual acts, and anti-social behavior on camera.

Privacy Policy and Use of Information

Your use of this Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy separately.

Information presenters, volunteers, or staff share including but not limited to: bio, presenter image or photo, class description, handouts, and resources may be shared on the Website, and other social media sites for advertising and promotional purposes upon their agreement in their presenter/volunteer application.

Information collected about presenter’s classes including but not limited to: title and description of sessions, feedback, and number of attendees may be shared with the presenter of those classes, organizers of other events, and for general, sponsorship, advertising, and social media purposes.

Cancellation Policy and Disclaimers

If you are unable to attend the event, you may ask for a refund up until close of registration at 8pm Eastern Time the day before the event. You will be refunded only the registration price; any donations or additional payment you make toward SOC or a Service Inspirations event is non-refundable. Please contact if you need a refund.

Service Inspirations reserves the right to modify or cancel events or conferences at its discretion. We are not responsible for any inconvenience or loss resulting from such changes.

The SOC schedule is subject to change in the event presenters are unable to attend or offer their sessions. No refunds will be given due to schedule changes. Refunds due to schedule changes for Service Inspirations events other than SOC will be handled on a case-by-case basis and will be detailed in the event-specific registration.

You are responsible for providing computing resources and Internet access sufficient to attend the conference. No refunds will be offered for inability to attend the conference due to hardware, software, or internet problems. We cannot offer tech support.

Conference sessions will be held over Zoom. We recommend you install and test Zoom at least several days before the conference to ensure it works properly on the device and internet connection you intend to use on the day of the conference. You may make a Zoom Test Call at any time to verify that you have what you need to attend the conference. If you don't often use Zoom, we strongly recommend you use this test call feature before you register.

You are not required to install the Zoom software on your computer to attend, but doing so is recommended as it will provide a richer experience. You may access the sessions directly within your compatible web browser without downloading or installing Zoom. Some features do not work or are incomplete as compared to using the full Zoom app.

Jurisdiction and Venue

Any claim, controversy, or dispute arising out of your attendance or inability to attend an event held by Service Inspirations shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding between Service Inspirations, LLC, and you for any purpose be brought exclusively in a federal or state court of competent jurisdiction sitting in Rensselaer County, New York, and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

If any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portion shall remain in full force and effect.
